Sad News
From Jeff Jordan
I'm at another major point in my life. Last Wednesday my wife, Maria Costello filed for divorce. It is an uncontested agreement. I wouldn't say it's amicable but we aren't going to fight each other for material or financial issues. I signed the papers willingly.
This is strike three for me. I don't want to use a sports analogy, but this situation begs for it. I'm out.
I'm sad because it is another major failure I have to own. I'm sad because the way forward for Maria is not having me in her life. I care for her and failing her is hard to accept, but clearly, this is the case.
These next few weeks will be challenging for both of us and my intention is not to make it harder than it has to be.
My next task is to move. where and when?

So sorry, Jeff, bummer. I don’t know what to say other than hang in there and keep on keeping on. Hope to see you soon on one of our trips to Hortonville to play music.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear Jeff :(
ReplyDeleteYou're a survivor,I know it.
You've proved it over & over.
Jeff, this makes me terribly sad. I remember going through this, tho for me - after maybe a few years of tension and distance - the ex is now a friend.
ReplyDeleteTake time to visit your gaggle of friends - hopefully you have a couple of those things here in Milwaukee (raising my hand at the suggestion, now. Come for a visit, whenever you can.
I can feel your sadness across the bandwidth. I am so sorry the relationship has ended. But please know, the relationship failed, YOU DID NOT! love love
ReplyDeleteIt takes two to tango. You are not the only responsible party no matter what. Know that you are a good person and perhaps she is not the best for you as well. I know that's hard to think of now. But know you are good. You are worthy and worth it.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear this, Jeff! You know you're always welcome back in Milwaukee. <3 -Niki
